Main technical indicators of fluidization baking furnace:
1. The calcination strength is conventionally calculated by treating the tonnage of sulfur-containing 35% ore in one day by the unit boiling layer cross-sectional area. The calcination strength is proportional to the operating speed of the boiling layer. The gas velocity is a function of the size of the solid particles in the boiling layer, typically in the range of 1 to 3 m/s. Generally, the calcination intensity of the flotation ore is 15-20 t/(m2·d); for the crushed lump ore passing through the sieve of 3×3 mm, the calcination strength is 30 t/(m 2 ·d).
2. The height of the boiling layer is the height of the slag overflow in the furnace, which is generally 0.9 to 1.5 m.
3. The boiling layer temperature varies depending on the sulfide mineral, the baking method, and the like. For example, zinc concentrate oxidizing roasting is 1070 ~ 1100 ° C, while sulphation roasting is 900 ~ 930 ° C; pyrite oxidizing roasting temperature is 850 ~ 950 ° C.
4. Furnace gas composition When the pyrite is oxidized and roasted, the sulfur dioxide in the furnace gas is 13% to 13.5%, and the sulfur trioxide is ≤0.1%. Sulfuration roasting, the air excess coefficient is large, so the sulfur dioxide concentration in the furnace gas is low and the sulfur trioxide content is increased.
Features of the fluidization baking furnace:

4. The concentration of sulfur dioxide in the furnace gas is high and the content of sulfur trioxide is small;
5. More heat can be recovered to generate medium pressure steam, and steam generated by the calcination process is usually 35% to 45% obtained by a cooling pipe in the boiling layer;
6. The temperature of the hearth is uniform;
7. The structure is simple, there are no rotating parts, and the investment is saved, and the maintenance cost is small;
8. Less operator, high degree of automation, and low operating costs;
9. Driving is quick and convenient, and the air pollution caused by parking is small. However, the boiling furnace furnace gas has more dust, and the air blower consumes more power.
